Fedor Emelianenko
Current PRIDE Heavyweight champion, Fedor "The Last Emperor" Emelianenko is a 31-year-old from Stary Oskol, Russia, born September 28, 1976. At 6' 0" and 230 pounds he fights in the heavyweight division. His predominant fighting styles are boxing, Muay Thai, Judo, and Sambo. Yet to fight for the UFC, he has made an indelible mark for himself with PRIDE, Bodog Fight, RINGS, and MFC M-1.

One year later, he was accepted onto the Russian Olympic team. He became recognized as an international Sambo master and, in 1998, at only 23 years of age, became the Russian Judo champ.
After earning numerous international Judo and Sambo accolades, he began studying new fighting techniques and began notching up major title victories in various free style bouts through the world. He is a four-time, undefeated PRIDE champion, a PRIDE Grand Prix champ many times over, and the European and World Sambo champion. He holds many esteemed titles in his home country of Russia, especially.
Among his innumerable wins are victories against big-name fighter like: Mirko Cro Cop Filipovic, Kevin Randleman, Mark Coleman, Keith Herring, and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. In fact, after beating out Nogueira for the PRIDE Heavyweight belt in 2003, Emelianenko has never looked back, defending his title with an implacable vengeance.
He is widely considered one of the best overall fighters, pound for pound, in the world His only loss came at the hands of Tsuyoshi Kosaka at RINGS: King of Kings 2000 Block B by TKO. As of this writing Fedor's overall MMA record is 26-1-0.
