Three-time UFC World Heavyweight Champion (including currently, as of UFC 68) and two-time UFC World Light Heavyweight Champion Randy "The Natural" Couture, is a 44-year-old from Everett, Washington who fights out of Las Vegas, Nevada. Born June 22, 1963, he's 6' 2" and weighs 220 pounds, placing him currently in the Light Heavyweight division. His strengths are in Greco-Roman wrestling and he's renowned for his killer clinch, though he also claims to especially love takedowns too.

His UFC career started out with 7 straight wins, including 2 in his debut on May 30, 1997 at UFC 13: The Fighting Force, where first he defeated Tony Halme by submission with a rear naked choke just 56 seconds into round 1, then defeated Steven Graham by technical knock-out 3 minutes 14 seconds into round 1.

Since then, he's notched up wins against some of the greatest fighters in MMA history, including: Chuck Liddell, Tito Ortiz, Kevin Randleman, Gabriel Gonzaga, and Tim Silva. He had a brief falling out with the UFC that included being stripped of his championship belt, but in 2000 he returned, and with a vengeance, becoming one of the most popular MMA fighters around.

For college he went to Oklahoma State University, where he earned his degree in German. Before turning to fighting, he spent 6 years in the U.S. Army. For fun he's an avid skier, having aspired in his youth to ski for the U.S. Olympic team.

At the time of this writing, Couture's overall MMA record is 16-8-0. He has already been enshrined in the UFC Hall of Fame.
