UFC 81, Breaking Point will feature some interesting heavyweight battles including a fight featuring former heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia vs. former Pride Heavyweight Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Nogueira and Sylvia will be fighting for the vacant heavyweight belt left by former champion Randy Couture.

Also featured will be MMA newcomer and former WWE superstar Brock Lesner.  Lesner will not be thrown in the cage with someone he can run over in his first televised appearance.  He will be up against Frank Mir, who was the UFC heavyweight title holder until a motorcycle accident forced him to relinquish the belt.  Mir will be looking to get back on track against Lesner and show that he sitll has what it takes to regain his heavyweight crown.

UFC 81 Breaking Point will decide not only who the heavyweight champion is, but will also determine if Jeremy Horn has a legit future in the UFC.  The veteran of over 100 MMA fights, Horn is probably best known in the mainstream MMA world for his loss to Chuck Liddel in 2005 at UFC 54: Boiling Point.  Horn will be facing off against Nate Marquardt who like Horn is most well known for his last loss to Anderson Silva at UFC 73: STACKED.  Both fighters are out to prove they have what it takes to keep fighting in the UFC.
