Preview of UFC 104
UFC 104 is right around the corner, and this time - after two years away - the UFC is going back to Cali.
The main event at UFC 104 will be the UFC Light Heavyweight title bout between two Brazilian behemoths, with Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida defending his belt against Mauricio "Shogun" Rua.
Rua was once Pride Grand Prix Champion. Machida is a karate master. It should be an interesting bout, with both men noted for their striking power.
Though Machida-Rua is the only championship bout on the UFC 104 fight card, there are some other great fights scheduled. Like the one between heavyweights, the undefeated Cain Velasquez and Ben Rothwell, veteran of the IFL.
One of the most heated fights on the card, though, could be that between Gleison Tibau and Josh Neer, with the two being such an evenly matched pair.
UFC 104 takes place on Sunday, October 25 at 3 am at the Staples Center and will be broadcast on ESPN.
