UFC 107 Recap

Meant to cap the year off right, UFC 107 did just that and more.

For starters, let's give credit where it's due, and for his performance that night, its due to BJ Penn, who shamed Diego Sanchez before fans had even taken a second breath, ultimately ending the fight with a kick to the head that left a bloody gash.

Kenny "Kenflo" Florian needed a big win after his humiliating defeat to BJ Penn, and he got it at UFC 107, against Clay "The Carpenter" Guida, ending the bout with a crushing rear naked choke.

Frank Mir beat Cheick Kongo literally to a pulp, boxing his way through most of the match, and all the way to victory, making this the third loss in a row for Cheick.

Stephan Struve won over Paul Buentello in a unianimous decision after the closest thing MMA has seen to a bare-knuckle brawl. And another unanimous decision was handed down in favor of John Fitch who in all ways outmatched his opponent Mike Pierce, who never really had a chance.
